For signage and advertising companies

From the client PO to production to installation — and the sign is tracked everywhere

An advertising company works in three places at once: the factory produces, the workshop prepares, and the site is where things get installed. ATLAS was first built inside a signage and installation company, so the production, install and dismantle cycle is in it from the ground up, not an add-on.

A typical day

The problems that repeat with every client PO

◆

The PO in an email, production on a slip, installation in a phone call

The order changes (size, colour, quantity) and nobody knows the latest version. The factory produces the old one.

▤

Materials consumed without accounting

Acrylic, aluminium and vinyl are cut for a sign without being deducted from stock, and at month end the count does not match.

⛓

A sign installed, dismantled, back in the workshop — where is it?

Temporary signs (exhibitions, campaigns) are dismantled and returned, and nobody knows what is in the workshop and what is at the client.

﷼

Banners by the metre, invoices by the piece

Production is costed per square metre, the client is invoiced per piece, and the accountant converts between them by hand.

With ATLAS

The install/dismantle cycle is built in

From settings you switch on the "install/dismantle cycle": new install, dismantle, re-install, and the workshop as a third location besides the store and the site. Progress is measured by what is actually installed, and banners by the metre.

◳

Client POs

The client PO is the reference: lines, sizes, quantities and price. The project and sites open from it, and progress and invoicing are measured against it.

⚙

Production with BOMs

Every product (sign, 3D letters, stand) has its components. The production order deducts materials from the store automatically, and the finished product is allocated to its project.

⛓

Install · dismantle · re-install

The sign moves between store, workshop and site with a document: where it was installed, when it was dismantled, whether it went back to the workshop or was installed again. Nobody asks "where did it go".

☷

Installation report with photos

The installation crew uploads a photo of the sign after installation from the phone, and the client receives the report on your letterhead.

✔

Design and price approval

Purchase orders and payment requests on e-signature approval chains — and a change to the client PO's lines becomes a documented change order, not a message.

Tax invoice and collection

A progress bill or invoice with QR code and ZATCA integration, collection to cash or bank, and the client statement ready.

Frequently asked

We have a factory, a workshop and a store — does the system tell them apart?

Yes. The store holds raw materials, production turns them into products, and the workshop is a third location in the install/dismantle cycle. Every movement is recorded with its location.

Will many small orders (banners, stickers) weigh the system down?

A client PO is created in a minute, and banners are costed by the metre. Orders that need no approval go straight through if the chain is empty.

Is there a place for client artwork and approval?

Attachments go on the document (the client PO or the project), and the installation report with photos reaches the client. The formal artwork approval is documented as an attachment to the order.
